Structural plastic parts are thick and rugged, produced in unique shapes and can replace concrete. For example, large panels (4’ x 8’) produced from structural plastic form the exterior walls of many in-ground pools. Strength is built into the panels by molding in a series of horizontal, vertical or diagonal structural ribs. Many pool shapes can be created because we can mold unique curves that are difficult to produce in concrete. Those shapes allow the consumer to create a pool shape to fit their taste. Structural plastic panels are installed quickly because there is no need for forms and extended cure time.
